Display tests.
Eight instruments for the glass itself. The pixel test cycles solid colors so a single bad pixel has nowhere to hide; the touch test paints every contact the digitizer reports, so a dead zone shows as cells that never fill; four focused fields isolate bright-background, dark-background, red-channel, and mid-grey uniformity jobs; the refresh-rate test measures animation-frame timing; and the resolution test reports what the panel physically is — its pixel density and the real size of the glass, measured against a bank card. All run in this tab, and none needs anything installed.

Why the four solid fields are separate
The pages share a fullscreen mechanism, but the jobs are not interchangeable. A single field cannot maximize the contrast for every fault, and the practical uses differ as well. The table states the evidence each route is built to expose; the full measurement methodology explains why a rendered field remains an observation for the person at the screen rather than a browser verdict.
